What we collect

Cinderpoint™ does not use tracking cookies, advertising networks, or third-party analytics scripts on this site. The host (Namecheap) records standard server access logs (page request, IP, user agent, referrer) for normal hosting operations. These logs are automatically discarded within 24 hours and are not used for analytics, profiling, or marketing. If you submit your email through a contact form or newsletter signup, that address is stored only for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or sending the updates you requested.

How we use it

Email addresses are used only to reply to your message or to send the launch and release notifications you signed up for. We do not sell, share, rent, or otherwise transfer your data to third parties for marketing.

Third-party services

Typefaces (Inter and IBM Plex Mono) are self-hosted from this site's own server under SIL Open Font License 1.1. No webfont CDN is used. Some pages embed videos from YouTube; YouTube may collect its own usage data per its privacy policy when you press play. No other third-party scripts run on this site.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing waydell@cinderpoint.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies of its own. Browser-level cookies set by an embedded YouTube player (only on pages where you press play) are governed by YouTube's own policy. No cookie banner is shown because no consent-required cookies are placed by Cinderpoint™.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and a brief change log will be posted here.
