Cinderpoint Apps

Desktop software. Everything runs on your device. Nothing leaves.
What this is
Cinderpoint ships a small set of desktop apps. Each one does one job well. None of them upload your files, scan your activity, send analytics, or talk to a server unless they have to (and they almost never have to). Every app is available as a free download. Some have a paid version with extra features for business use.

Privacy Apps

Four small desktop tools that protect your privacy in different ways. Each does one job. None of them call home. None of them share your data.

AI Governance

Software that operationalizes published Cinderpoint research on how to govern AI systems. Different audience than the privacy apps, same Cinderpoint principles: structured, auditable, defensible.

How we ship

Every Cinderpoint app ships through the Microsoft Store and the Mac App Store. There are no installer downloads from this website. The stores handle payment, updates, and refunds. We do not run a separate payment system, license-key system, or update server.

Each app comes in two builds. Free covers the core function (scan, sign, cloak, verify) without limits. Paid adds the report exports, batch processing, and other features designed for business workflows. Both versions stay on your device. Neither version sends your data anywhere.

Privacy promise

Every Cinderpoint app follows the same rule: your data stays on your device. No analytics. No telemetry. No advertising IDs. No "anonymous usage data" reporting. The apps make zero outbound network calls except the small set each one needs to do its job (PRISM contacts the website you are scanning; LENS scans your local network; HAZE and PROOF never make any outbound call at all).

The full privacy policy covers the website and the apps together. The short version: we do not collect your data because we built the apps so they cannot.
